Sharena Gilliland

Sharena Gilliland is the Parker County District Clerk. Prior to taking office, she practiced law in the area of civil litigation.  Sharena graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in political science and from Baylor University School of Law with a jurist doctorate degree.  Along with her husband Chawn Gilliland, they are both involved in a variety of organizations in Parker County.

Pam Tarpley retired from banking in 2006 and joined the Doss Heritage and Culture Center as Co-Director of Education for four years.  Ranching is an interest as she and her Dad raised Chianina Cattle. For the past fourteen years Pam has been Vice President of J Spur Productions and also served as Technical Director of Cowboy Jubilee Radio with Judy James every Saturday morning on Cowboy Jubilee Radio.  Pam has also serves as a deputy voter registrar.  Pam loves Western Music, and the Western way of life. One of her favorite pastimes is photography, which she generously shares with our club.

Judy James is an active and passionate supporter of Republican ideals and tenets.  In 2015 Judy was chosen “Parker County Republican “Volunteer of the Year”. She is past president of Bush Legacy Republican Women of Weatherford and currently serves as Newsletter Editor and as a member of the Board of Directors.
Locally Judy serves the Parker County Republican Party as Chairman of the Nomination Committee and Precinct Chairman One of her favorite times was serving on a strike force for Allen West in Florida.   
As a professional, Judy James, is a retired school teacher and is now performing Western Music.  Judy, the Lady Balladeer of Texas, is at home on the concert stage as well as in schools.  A former touring Artist with the Texas Commission on the Arts, Judy is a West Quest Award recipient, a past nominee for Female Vocalist of the Year and has four professionally recorded CDs as well as the author of two books. 

Also she is Western Music Association’s 2013 and 2015 DJ of the Year/Show of the Year for her weekly radio show “Cowboy Jubilee with Judy James” locally in the North Texas area on QXFM.com and “Western Heritage Radio” heard 24/7 by clicking on www.judyjamesradio.com.  Cowboy Jubilee will be celebrating its twentieth anniversary next year
