Judy Flanagin has been a member of BLRWW since January 1, 2006.  She served as President for 2009 and is excited about serving in 2010.  She served as 6th Vice-President-Hospitality, and was responsible for encouraging attendance at the monthly meetings and greeting each attendee.  Judy is an administrative assistant for State Representative Phil King, as well as a legal assistant for the law firm of Eggleston, Flowers & King, LLP.  She currently serves as a board member for the Rotary Club of Weatherford, and is a member and past board member of Parker County Executive Association, and a member of the Business Development Committee.  She is on the advisory board for the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Judy and her husband, Jay, have been married for 32 years and attend Greenwood Baptist Church.  Her hobbies include fishing, photography, and the joy of being with her family!

Joan Shaw has been a member of Bush Legacy of Republican Women of Weatherford for the past four years.  She has been active in the Republican Party for many years.  Her service in the party began when she served as secretary of Young Republicans in college.  As owner and broker of Prudential Texas Properties, Joan is active in the Greater Metro West Association of Realtors where she has served as President and is currently director to Texas Association of Realtors. Joan was named Realtor of the Year in 2002.  She serves on many local and state committees for her profession.  Joan is also active in the community where she has served on the executive board of the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce and Ambassador Chair for the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce.  She is currently serving on the Weatherford Independent School District Foundation board, Weatherford College Foundation board, the board of directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for neglected and abused children where she serves as secretary, the board of directors for the Doss Heritage and Cultural Center, and Treasurer for the Friends of Weatherford Public Library.  Joan is past president of the Parker County Women and Newcomers Club where she was recognized as Outstanding Club Woman.

Dottie Worthington has been a member of BLRWW for four years. She is a Lifetime Ambassador at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, and is a Past President of the Weatherford Board of REALTOR’s and former “REALTOR of the Year.”  She is the very First President of the Weatherford College Booster Club, a Parker County Executive Association member, a National Wild Turkey Federation board member and Women in the Outdoors Chairman.  She is past president of both the Tourism Committee at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce and the Little Dribblers.  Dottie is Owner/Broker of Worthington Realty & Investments Inc.  Council of Real Estate Brokerage designation.

Dr. Brandi Buckner has consistently supported the Republican Party and values.  She is a Parker County native.  She and her husband, Jerry Buckner, a local attorney, shared an office building until he was elected County Court at Law #1 Judge.  Dr. Buckner’s private counseling practice in Weatherford includes children, individuals, couples, and families. She now owns a professional office building in Weatherford at 418 Eureka Street. Her licensure and certifications include Licensed Professional Counselor/Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist, National Board of Certified Counselors and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist.  While obtaining her Ph.D. and Master’s from the University of North Texas in Counseling, she also taught counseling classes at UNT and later Tarleton State University.

In 2009, she was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve a six-year term on the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.  She currently is the Chair of the Supervision Committee and serves on the Complaints committee.

She is the past President of the Parker County Women’s and Newcomer’s Club, and Past President of the Friends of the Weatherford Public Library. She was a founding member, President and Executive Director of the Freedom House, a domestic violence shelter and crisis intervention office for families in Parker County.  She served as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Parker County Child Advocacy Center.  She currently is a Board member with the Doss Heritage and Cultural Center, the Court Appointed Special Advocates – CASA, and Parker County Women’s and Newcomers Club.

Vicki is a registered myotherapist, specializing in postural correction, pain management, and nutrition. She is also a music coordinator and Team Leader at the Parker County Cowboy Church.  Vicki both plays bass guitar and helps her husband of eight years, Mason, lead music at the church.  Vicki loves a challenge and believes that hard work pays off. She’s also currently supporting Mason in his bid for Parker County Precinct 4 Commissioner. She and Mason have a long family history in Parker County, and are both conservative Republicans. After becoming aware of Bush Legacy, they felt led to become a part of the organization.

Linda Humphreys has lived in Parker County with her husband, Mike, for the past ten years.  She worked at Lockheed Martin as an Executive Secretary and took an early retirement in 1993 to enable her to be a stay-at-home mom.  She and Mike have a daughter, Michelle, and three precious grandchildren: Dylan, Caitlin, and Austin.

Robin Gentry has been a member of BLRWW for three years. She is a past chairman of the board of the Parker County Tennis Association and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, working on the “Women in the Outdoors” event each year.  She is also a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and plays USTA League tennis each fall and spring.  She is a past president and board member of the Parker County Executive Association. Robin has also been a member of the Greater Metro West Association of Realtors for more than four years.  She is a graduate of the Design Institute of San Diego in Interior Design, and is a past vice president and president of the student chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Pat Martin is long-time resident of Parker County, and owned and operated a title company in the county for many years. She is a Lifetime Ambassador at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, and presently serves on the Parker County Committee on Aging Board, Park View Terrace Housing Board, Parker County Hospital Foundation Board, Cuttin' Capital Campaign, Weatherford Independent School District Foundation Board and East Parker County Chamber of Commerce Board.  She is dedicated to the eighth year of Bible Study Fellowship. Pat is also a very proud grandmother.

Brooke has been selling real estate for Worthington Realty for more than a year. She joined BLRWW in ????, and through her recent efforts the club was able to get hundreds of pocket Constitutions into Weatherford ISD classrooms for teachers to use. Brooke has lived in Parker County for ??? years, and appreciates the sincerity and values of the people who live here. In addition to serving as Bush Legacy’s Literacy Chair and Historian, she serves as the social chairman for the Tarrant County Young Republicans. Brooke has also toured with a past Olympic volleyball coach, putting on volleyball camps across the United States.
